What is a LIFE Group?
A Life Group is a gathering of 8-15 people who meet weekly to share, study and grow in relationship with God and each other. A trained leader and apprentice lead each group.
How important are LIFE Groups?
At Word of Life, Life Groups are at the core of our ministry. They're the place where the real ministry of the church happens as we study God’s Word, while sharing our lives and encouraging one another.
When and where do they meet?
Life Groups meet on various nights of the week in homes throughout the Intermountain area. Most evening groups meet from 6-8 pm.
How Long Do They Last?
We have quarterly start-ups. LifeGroups meet throughout the year. You can find the schedule in the "LifeGroups Brochure" or by calling the church office at 335-4419.
What Will We Study?
Groups choose their own studies. Some are topical, such as marriage or parenting, but most will study straight from the Bible.
What About Child Care?
Life Groups are primarily for adults (exceptions made for nursing newborns). We do, however, leave it up to each Life Group to work out child care. Sometimes it works best for families to share a sitter or to swap child care with another family whose LifeGroup meets on a different night.
How Do I Sign Up For A LifeGroup?
We offer sign-ups for Groups several Sundays before each of our Life Groups launch. There will be Life Group leaders available at the sign-up table in the church lobby to help you choose a group and answer any questions. You can also inquire about the different groups by requesting info. A Life Group leader will then contact you.
